Dan Shadbolt I Footy Coach
Daniel 'Shaddy' Shadbolt started playing A grade footy aged 14 for his home town Mukinbudin. After finishing college Shaddy returned to Muka and won the Best and Fairest (BF) in 1997 as well as the Central Wheatbelt Football Association (CWFA) B&F that year aged 17. Dan spent 2 years playing reserves at West Perth Football Club, before moving to Perth Demons winning the BF in 2000. Shaddy played 72 Western Australian Football League (WAFL) games for Perth Demons. Shaddy has also had a taste of AFL having tried out with Collingwood for a preseason. Since those days Dan picked up several BF awards: CWFA BF 2004, runner up CWFA BF 2005, Mukinbudin BF 2009, Goomalling BF 2013.
Shaddy has now retired from footy, playing anyway! He now coaches his son's team.
Born and raised a country boy in a town called Mukinbudin, Dan (a fireman!) is married to Jai and has three children Mykaela, Jacob and Isla. Dan and his family attend Christian City Church (C3) Joondalup.
